I’ve spent this week listening to tracks to use in my next mix. Its been an exciting experience, as there seems to be a wealth of good music out there to use. I’m seeing new tracks from favorite artists, rising one-hit-wonders, new producers with exciting remixes, and familiar faces back on the scene. Here is a list of some of the songs I’m checking out:
- Adam Lambert – For Your Entertainment (Remixes by Bimbo Jones and Fonzerelli)
- Beyonce – Smash Into You (Lost Daze Remix)
- Ke$ha (is it pronounced kee-sha or keh-sha?) – Tik Tok (Remixes by pretty much everybody)
- Lady Gaga and Beyonce – Telephone (Remixes by DJ Dan and Kaskade)
- Blake Lewis – Heartbreak on Vinyl (Bimbo Jones) (I wanna hate Blake Lewis and his stupid beatbox, but this song is pretty decent)
- Lady Gaga – Eh, Eh
- Bebe Zahara Benet – I’m the Shit (I couldn’t list one winner of ANTM, but I know what Bebe is up to)
- Robbie Williams – Bodies (Cahill Club Mix)
- Timbaland – If We Ever Meet Again (Remixes by Digital Dog and Chew Fu)
